It is the policy of Walters Bank & Trust to comply with the interagency rules implementing the Secure and Fair Enforcement  for Mortgage Licensing Act of 2008 (S.A.F.E. Act). The S.A.F.E. Act requires an employee of a bank who acts as a residential mortgage loan originator (MLO) to register with the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and Registry, obtain a unique identifier, and maintain this registration.  Each bank is required to ensure that the consumer has access to the originator’s unique identifier.
